Incawasi has initiated a program with Cajamarca’s Regional Hospital through which each child is provided with health insurance. Most Incawasi parents cannot afford health care for their children independently.

Each year in January and July the children have a general check-up with our doctor Gilmar Fidel Azañedo Quilcate to make sure they don’t suffer from parasites and anemia. This program has resulted in a notable improvement in the overall health of the children at Incawasi.  

We also periodically participate in health and vaccination campaigns provided by local health organizations. Thanks to such initiatives, our children are vaccinated, and their sight and hearing are monitored.
