We welcome local Peruvian volunteers, International volunteers and University student placement interns from diverse backgrounds and interests, from students to retirees, all help is welcomed and it can be a fun and rewarding experience. Volunteers and student interns play a vital role in Incawasi’s day-to-day activities. They provide invaluable support to the team in a way that allows Incawasi to offer individualized attention to the children. International volunteers and student interns live onsite in Incawasi and participate in all facets of programming, including educational support in small class settings both in Spanish and English, assisting in serving and supervising of mealtimes, planning educational, creative and fun activities for the children, leading workshops with the families and helping with fundraising activities. We welcome the collaboration with the volunteers and student interns, and we encourage them to use their skills and experiences to help support and improve the project, and to propose workshops that they would like to lead for the children. This opportunity is ideal for individuals or small groups interested in a volunteering/student internship experience in Peru, South America or Latin America. The project can provide a rewarding cultural exchange, with a two-way sharing of experiences and learning with the children and staff, as well as helping make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. It can also be a valuable experience to include in your Curriculum Vitae. For University students who are interested in doing an international placement internship as part of their degree course, we offer:
