A quality education and good nutrition are the foundation for a successful life. Incawasi is dedicated to providing Cajamarca’s most disadvantaged children improved education, nutrition and health services, and we need your help to make every child’s dream a reality.
Incawasi has two sponsorship programs, an education sponsorship and a nutrition sponsorship program, that allow individuals interested in helping from afar to support children in Cajamarca.
Through the education sponsorship program, sponsors make a yearly US$250 donation to help cover the cost of a child going to school for a year. This yearly contribution allows Incawasi to pay for a child’s uniform, school supplies and other adhoc expenses that arise and that can otherwise be prohibitively expensive for parents to send their children to school. Given the administrative effort of managing the program, we ask that sponsors make a minimum three-year commitment to supporting a child. It is our hope that you will wish to share in the child's journey and support them throughout the duration of their education.
Through the nutrition sponsorship program, sponsors make a yearly US$250 donation to help cover the cost of a child receiving two warm, nutritious meals a day at Incawasi for a year. Given that these breakfasts and lunches sometimes count as the only meals that some Incawasi children receive, they are a critical component of our program. Given the administrative effort of managing the program, we ask that sponsors make a minimum three-year commitment to supporting a child. It is our hope that you will wish to share in the child's journey and support them throughout the duration of their education.
Sponsors receive an introductory report on the child they are supporting, yearly updates on how they are progressing, greeting cards made by the child and our regular Incawasi newsletters.
To become a sponsor, or for more information on the program, please email incawasi@incawasi.org.pe. Know that your donation will go a long way in ensuring a brighter future for the children of Incawasi.
